Ganesh Hindu Festival

Southend's seafront is always a good place for a party and one of the biggest is the Ganesh Hindu Festival. Attracting thousands annually, it celebrates the birthday of Lord Ganesha, the elephant-headed god. Events are concentrated on Shoebury East Beach.
