To the horror of some, twenty20 cricket is the most successful innovation in the domestic game for years. It may be a far cry from the sport's genteel image of old, yet the bite-size format has reinvigorated English county cricket.

Finals Day is the culmination of the summer long Friends Life T20 competition and is the county game's big day. Expect a constant diet of crowd-pleasing boundaries, tumbling wickets and frenzied running, all accompanied by musical sound-bites and raucous support.
