Maidstone's Original Beer & Hop Festival

Sample Cobtree Ale, brewed from Kent Life's own hops, at Maidstone's Original Beer & Hop Festival. Wider-ranging than most beer festivals, there's not only live music, but also the chance to help in the brewing process by hop picking.

Kent Life has the country's last working coal-fired Oast house, through which the traditionally picked hops are processed. Step back in time and meet characters from Kent's past, including the Tally Man and Pearly Kings and Queens.

Don't worry if you're not into beer - Pimm's, wines and spirits are available too.
