Festival Park
Stoke-on-Trent's major entertainment complex is a fun-packed experience, home to a ten-screen cinema, 10-pin bowling, Waterworld (an indoor aqua park) and the Stoke Ski Centre, which boasts an Alpine toboggan run where the brave-hearted hurtle down at speeds of 30mph.
In addition there are plenty of restaurants (chain and fast food outlets), pubs, a nightclub, out-of-town DIY stores and the mighty Morrison's superstore for any groceries you might need.
The site of Festival Park was originally the Shelton Bar Steelworks and was developed for the National Garden Festival in 1986.
