Torre Abbey

Dating back to 1196, Torre Abbey is a historic house just off the beach of Torquay in Devon. A former medieval abbey later converted into a Georgian manor house, it now features large gardens, a golf course and tennis courts.

The highlights of the historic house, furnished with antiques and paintings, are the Italian Blue Room, the Gatehouse, the Dining Room and the Chapel. The gardens boast a palmhouse and seven acres of grounds which the public have full access to.
