Bath Mozartfest
The Bath Mozartfest returns for another year of high-quality classical music. Performances predominantly take place at the Assembly Rooms, but others are hosted at Bath Abbey, The Guildhall and the Forum.
A celebration of the music of Mozart and his contemporaries, Mozartfest sees some of the very finest classical musicians perform a range of chamber, orchestral and operatic works.
Previous years have seen the music of Handel, Mendelssohn, Haydn and, of course, Mozart himself, performed. In 2009 Sir Roger Norrington conducted the Requiem, in memory of the late Richard Hickox who was to have given the concert.
