St Fagans National History Museum

St Fagans National History Museum in Cardiff brings 500 years of Welsh experience to life in the 100-acre grounds of 16th-century St Fagans Castle. It is one of the best open-air museums in Europe and Wales' most popular heritage attraction.

The museum features over 30 traditional buildings including a school, a Workmens' Institute and several craft shops. Indoor galleries contain collections of Welsh costumes, farming implements and exhibitions devoted to particular areas and periods.

Native breeds of livestock roam the paddocks and farmyards and there are regular performances of Welsh folk dancing and singing.
