Sometimes life’s a beach. And sometimes that beach has dogs on it, lots of dogs! Work doesn’t come much better than this. As part of the Best Western Hotels GB sponsorship of early evenings on ITV3 we have been in South Wales at the pet friendly BEST WESTERN Aberavon Beach Hotel with a varied pack of furry friends. Long before most people were troubled by their alarm clocks the crew were on Aberavon Beach getting the dogs running through the warm sea (really it was, I know, I stood in it for a couple of hours). The beach has often been awarded for being one of the top five cleanest in Britain, and then you have the Brecon Beacons in the background. What a place to be. Back at the hotel we captured portraits of Ben the Sharpei, he was outside on the grass. Then inside we shot (in a film sense) Oscar the English Bulldog, he is the mysterious fellow coming out of the lift.
General manager Stuart McManus’s Buddy and Lola, and deputy general manager Bryn Mantle’s Trudy, were put through their acting paces running down the stairs for the camera. It’s all a bit different to normal life at the Aberavon Beach, but then it’s always a different story every day at Best Western Hotels GB, we wouldn’t want it any other way. The adverts will be shown through late July and August between 1900 and 2100 on ITV3, and demonstrate just how different a stay in one of our hotels with personality can be. A big thank you to the BEST WESTERN Aberavon Beach Hotel – I hope we can come back and stay sometime soon – and that the sun will shine as it has today.
