Celebrating the annual garlic harvest, lovers of the tasty bulb can feast on garlic ice cream, beer and fudge. More than 25,000 people turn up – and garlic breath’s forgiven. There’s also entertainment from talented humans… and animals.

One of the biggest and best UK festivals will see the likes of The Cure and Primal Scream wooing the crowds this year. Plenty of fancy dress, theatre and fun activities for all the family, too.

GWYL CORRIS FESTIVAL

CORRIS, GWYNEDD, WALES 1-4 SEPTEMBER

Real ales, music from pop and rock to choral and folk, as well as circus skills workshops, take place in pubs and marquees in the pretty village of Corris.
