Well, it is the 2nd December and it is time to say goodbye to the ‘Tash.
We have had a busy month (me and the ‘Tash) – we’ve been here, there and everywhere met some wonderful people and had fantastic support from them!
I have talked at length about men’s health and learned some frightening but interesting facts about testicular and prostate cancer.
It has been a fun month for me, but on a serious note, it has been for an amazing cause.
I am so impressed with the organisers of Movember and want to say a huge congratulations to them- the coverage and PR that this year’s Movember has generated is fantastic.
I also want to say a massive thank you to my fellow Mo Bros and Mo Sistas- our efforts have really gone global this year!
If we only save 1 life from this horrendous disease we can and should all give ourselves a huge round of applause.
To Uncle Russ.
It has been a few months for us now but you are always in our thoughts. You are missed by everyone who knew you and talked about constantly by those that knew you properly.
For you, the pain has gone but for those that are left behind it is still raw.
The battle you fought was lost but the war against this poxy disease continues.
Rest in Peace, Silver Fox.
Love you millions.
PS. I just wanted to say thank you to Katie Wilson and all the gang up at Best Western Central Office in York, my General Manager, Jayne Chapman, all my colleagues at the BEST WESTERN Manor House Hotel in Alsager, John Poulson and the gang at Alsager Chamber and Trade, Julian Tee of Compass Hotel Group, my friends and family, my facebook world, Claire and Sarah at Staffordshire Conference Bureau, Ricardo and the team at Cheshire Marketing, Liz and Gav at RedShift Radio, Kelvin from Moore’s Barber Shop in Alsager (thanks for the close shave!), my friends at 4Networking Trentham and Alsager, and Julie Gibson at Wedgwood Visitor Centre (for the Mo-Quotes) and EVERYONE else who has supported me over the last month.
