The Abbots Barton is a unique venue with rural charm and ambiance set in stunning surroundings. This country house hotel with landscaped lawns and ancient trees is conveniently situated in the heart of Canterbury, just 10 minutes walk from the city centre.

Our brigade of talented chefs will prepare you a beautifully presented meal of your choosing, whilst our experienced Wedding Co-ordinator will be on hand to guide you.

WHY ARE WE SELLING A WEDDING ON EBAY?
Quite simply, because of late availability on this special date due to a last minute cancellation.

WHAT’S INCLUDED?
Package includes 50 guests during the day with an additional 30 guests in the evening.
Wedding Breakfast for up to 50 guests inclusive of the following:

Bucks Fizz on arrival
Three course meal plus coffee
Wine served with the wedding breakfast
Sparkling wine for the toast

Evening Reception for up to 80 guests inclusive of the following:

Disco
Buffet
Additional items included

Accommodation in a double room with full english breakfast for the Bride & Groom

THE COST
Bidding starts at £1,999. Normal cost £4,000!!!

PAYMENT
£500 deposit to be paid a the end of the auction (bank transfer or credit card only) with the remaining balance payable one week prior to the event.
Once you have paid the deposit the venue is secured. We’ll sort out everything else! All we ask is that you attend a couple of meetings to discuss timings and of course the menu choices on offer prior to your special day!

The auction does not include the marriage ceremony.
Should you wish to have a civil ceremony, the hotel is licensed and could be booked at an additional £395 charge (normaly £650), subject to hotel & registry availability.
Also please note the date is non transferable. If you had a different date in mind please feel free to contact us and we would be happy to discuss.
