Our newbie hotel – BEST WESTERN Angel & Royal Hotel
BEST WESTERN Angel & Royal Hotel is reputed to be the oldest Inn in England, dating back to 1203! Located in the ancient market town of Grantham with roaring log fires and individually styled bedrooms, this hotel brings comfort and history to your stay.

1.) Describe your hotel in 5 words.

2.) What is your favourite part of the hotel?
The view from the reception door looking towards the bridge with the ivy growing on the other side but looks as if it is growing on the inside of the building.
3.) What is the one attraction/event/area that you would encourage people to visit when staying at your hotel?
Belton House – National Trust property – has an adventure playground for the kids, lots of green space, beautiful house and walks in the bluebells to the boathouse on the lake with the Canadian Geese.
4.) Tell us an interesting fact about the hotel.
Seven Kings and one queen have stayed at the hotel in the past 800 years – plus the Duchess of Cambridge stayed when Prince William had his passing out parade at RAF Cranwell – she asked for Cornflakes as a bedtime snack.
5.) Have you had any celebrities staying at your hotel and if so who?
Duchess of Cambridge, Steve McFadden (Phil Mitchell on a regular basis), Mr Menzies-Campbell when doing question time in the area.
6.) What is your favourite dish served in your restaurant?
Many favourite dishes but the prettiest dish at the moment is the Orange Segment, Fresh fig and Parma Ham Salad

7.) What is there to do in the local area to keep the kids entertained?
