Spotlight – Hotels with Golf Courses

The Golf season is in full swing with competitions teeing off across the country so what better time to have a little look at ‘fore’ golf hotels to whet your appetite.

BEST WESTERN Mytton Fold Hotel & Golf Complex, Blackburn

On the outskirts of Blackburn sits this three star hotel, complete with an 18 hole on site golf course. Its appeal as a business destination is boosted with 43 bedrooms, six conference and meeting rooms and ample parking for up to 200 cars. Plus, a little birdie tells me that the golf is free for all hotels residents after 4pm – what a bonus!

BEST WESTERN Gleddoch House Hotel & Golf Club, Langbank

If you are looking for a three star hotel with a championship 18 hole golf course then look no further. This is the hotel to get away from it and plunge yourself into leisure time with a swimming pool, sauna and 70 relaxing bedrooms.  Plus, with spacious landscaped gardens and views over the River Clyde you could just bag yourself an Eagle (or maybe just a plain birdie) to top off your day!

BEST WESTERN Garstang Country Hotel & Golf Club

With the nights getting darker and the rain never far away this hotel is one for all seasons with an 18 hole parkland course, floodlit range and indoor and outdoor putting greens. Its country house feel with 32 bedrooms and meeting facilities for up to 200 delegates makes it a hole in one for any business guest!

BEST WESTERN Premier Blunsdon House Hotel

For those with less time on their hands, then this four star hotel’s golf course is the one for you. With just 9 holes you will be able to get a round in half the time, meaning it’s the perfect team break out exercise. Or, you could always spend the rest of the time in the spa or on the 19th hole of course!
