East Midlands Hotel gets sporty silver

With less than a year to a certain special event in London the Best Western Premier Yew Lodge Hotel and Conference Centre have been testing out the training centre for Team GB with a hockey game or two at this year’s UK Corporate Games.

The team, made up of staff, went up against 4,000 amateur athletes on a very wet Saturday! However, the weather certainly did not put them off as they finished top of their group and progressed to the quarter finals, which took place the very next day.

Good news is that they reached the final and came away with silver!
