1. Membership

1.1 Membership of the Best Western Gold Crown Club International Programme ("the Programme") is subject to the following conditions together with the full terms and conditions of trading of Interchange and Consort Hotels Limited trading as Best Western Hotels ("our", "us", and "we"). Copies of these can be found on our website (www.bestwestern.co.uk). Alternatively, if you would like us to send you a copy, please write to us at Best Western Hotels, Amy Johnson Way, Clifton Moor, York, YO30 4GP.

1.2 "Rewards Suppliers" include all suppliers of rewards except us or any of our hotel members. Your contract for the rewards offered under the Programme will, in the case of accommodation at any of our member hotels be between you and us, and in the case of any other reward, be between you and the respective Reward Supplier. Our full terms and conditions of trading or the terms and conditions of the Reward Supplier in question (which can be found on www.goldcrownclub.co.uk) will apply to that contract as applicable. The Reward Supplier's terms and conditions may limit and/or exclude the Reward Supplier's liability to you. You should read these carefully prior to taking up the reward in question. We act only as the agent of the Reward Suppliers in relation to all rewards offered and run under the Programme.

1.3 We reserve the right at our discretion to refuse any application for membership.

1.4 With the exception of advances purchase rates, selected promotional rates and 2-night break packages, you may use your membership card in Great Britain to guarantee accommodation at a Best Western hotel without having to make any payment at the time of booking. To obtain this benefit you must make your booking by telephoning our central reservations department on 0800 75 75 75. Payment for these bookings must be made on checkout of the hotel at the end of your stay. For advances purchase rates, selected promotional rates and 2-night break packages reservations, payment in full will be required at the time of booking.

1.5 Cancellation charges apply to "no shows" and cancellations. For full details see our full terms and conditions.
