Originally an old Victorian house, now tastefully converted to a 3 star hotel. The Hotel is midway through a refurbishment programme, taking it from a traditional family run hotel to a more modern contemporary "boutique style". All public areas have been re-furbished. Situated opposite is Eaglescliffe golf course described by Golf Monthly magazine as 'a hidden gem' of English golf. We are 1 mile from picturesque Yarm, with cobbled high street and an ancient viaduct. Yarm has just been voted 2007 best high street in the Britain.
