A classical Georgian Country House hotel set in five acres of landscaped gardens with its own walled garden and vineyard, overlooking the picturesque Wiltshire Downs. Leigh Park is a stunning grade II listed building nestled on the outskirts of the pretty Saxon town of Bradford-on-Avon. It is a relaxing informal venue, just a few miles from the Georgian Heritage City of Bath. A wealth of history lies on the doorstep and the original house was a gift to Dudley the Earl of Leicester from Queen Elizabeth I in 1574. It is possible that Queen Elizabeth stayed in the house during the same year. Recent extensive refurbishment has stylishly embellished the facilities with executive contemporary bedrooms and a superbly appointed conservatoire restaurant opening out onto a new patio area.
