King Richard III Visitor Centre

In 1485, King Richard III was killed at the Battle of Bosworth, and in August 2012, Leicester City Council, the University of Leicester, and the Richard III Society came together to uncover his remains. Today, at the King Richard III Visitor Centre – which stands at the site where the king’s remains were buried over 500 years ago – you can learn more about one of the greatest archaeological detective stories ever told.
