Visitors to the Royal Botanic Gardens at Kew are guaranteed snow this Christmas - inside a 12-metre diameter dome.
The dome will give visitors an "arctic experience", complete with a "snow storm" and "northern lights".
Father Christmas is also due to drop in on weekends until 16 December, and then daily until 23 December.
Other attractions at the gardens in the run-up to Christmas include a 20-minute Christmas ‘planto' and horse and carriage rides through the gardens.
A special Christmas Wish Tree is also in place, with inspiration for environmentally-friendly New Year's resolutions, while the seasonal ice-rink will remain open until 6 January.
On the 14 and 15 December, visitors to the gardens will be given free admission between 4pm and 9pm for late night openings, when there will be include carol concerts and festive food.
