Crowds on the south coast of England will have their eyes on the skies over the next few days, as several free aerial displays get off the ground.
The Eastbourne International Airshow begins today, and is expected to draw 800,000 visitors. Attractions include the Eurofighter Typhoon F2, and a show by popular newcomers The Blades. The UK’s most famous display team - the RAF’s Red Arrows - will perform on both Saturday and Sunday.
Before heading to Eastbourne, the Red Arrows appear over Bournemouth seafront tomorrow (Friday 17 August) from midday. During the afternoon, fans will also get the chance to meet the pilots at Pier Approach. Further details and travel information are available from the Bournemouth Red Arrows Association.
