The streets of London have been replaced by British towns in a new edition of the Monopoly board game.
In the game, Liverpool has taken over from Old Kent Road as the board's cheapest property, while posh Mayfair has been usurped by Hertfordshire cathedral city St Albans.
The towns and cities in the Here and Now UK edition are based on the results of an internet poll by makers Hasbro. The company says that the competition received more than one million votes, over 10% of which went to St Albans.
BBC News reports that Exeter is the second most expensive property on the board, replacing Park Lane. Meanwhile, a big push by students at Keele University saw the Staffordshire village become the 10th most valuable property, despite a population of only 3,664 at the 2001 census.
If you don't fancy forking out £1,500 for a hotel in Exeter, why not check out Best Western's altogether more affordable options?
