Teams of cyclists from across the world will be descending on London this weekend for the start of the Tour of Britain 2007.
This year’s Tour starts on Sunday 9 September with a prologue stage at Crystal Palace, before heading to Reading on Monday for the start of an 86.4-mile stage to Southampton
The second stage marks the week-long event’s first visit to the West Country, before the riders head north through the Malvern Hills on day three.
There are further stages in Yorkshire and Merseyside before the Tour ends in Glasgow on Saturday 15 September.
Meanwhile, the British team has finished 9th in the team relay event that kicked off the Mountain Bike and Trials World Championships in Fort William.
